Week 8 Assignment, we're starting a new month and the last one sharing contents on this online class.
This is also my last month in USA, ending my year abroad. Feeling happy to go back to France but keeping great memories in my mind from this long holiday year !
Facebook stats are really bad. I've created a new Facebook account especially for this class so I only have people from this online class. This is not relevant, i've posted 7 times since January. I think we don't really take care about contents share on our pages.
We've already discuss about our blog stats in Wk6 Assignment but it's interesting to compare the stats with only two week left. I had 2 new followers, 322 pageviews only had 210 two weeks ago.
I've just find an internship in France from April to July so i've update my linkedin account. I wasn't taking care of it and didn't update since a long time ago. I've post my new experience and about my entrepreneurship experience. I don't post on this social media but i like to share and comments relevant stuff. I have 77 "relations" but I need to improve it by having incluent people and not only my friends.
Twitter is my worst social media about stats. I don't have any entry traffic from it. I think people use more Facebook rather than twitter. According to me, I only use it to read the newspapers and follow the news.
To conclude, my blog stats still have the bigger traffic ! I guess I'm not enough dynamic on the other ones. I will try to improve my stats for this last month and being more interactive !
I think you are using LinkedIn for the right purpose! And yes, Twitter and Facebook doesn't provide any specific statistics compared to the blog that we are using. Hope you enjoy your last month in here!

ReplyDeleteI'm also excited to go back to France and the first thing I will do will be eating a Raclette. About your stats I basically have the same things for my twitter, I never use the app. For LinkedIn I honestly don't know if it's worth having lots of network, I believe yes because everybody says so but whenever I posts that I was looking for internship it never got me an offer.

ReplyDeleteI am also happy to go back in France, I think it's time to really work now ahah! Concerning LinkedIn I agree with you, it's important to connect with people other than our friends but it can be difficult to find the right people to follow.
I'm so impressed that you got over 100 views between just 2 weeks! my other stats are similar with you, and it does nit provide the exact stats. Nice post!

As far as I'm concerned and as a user of Linkedin I think that you're using this social network for a real purpose and you're one of these millions examples who show that Linkedin can be very useful for your professional life!

I think you have to be very active on social media to be viewed or followed. It would explain why you do not have great stats with your twitter account.
